High tensile Steel single piston rod, hard Chrome coating and lapped finish surface treatment to eliminate friction, supported by slide bearings. Hydraulic brake adjustment ring nut with 13 calibrated points of hardness. Speed sensitive progressive hydraulic damping system which reacts to sudden movements.
